Saturday was a great day. I had slept over at David’s the previous night and we headed off for the Digital Life Convention. We drove and parked in New Jersey, then took a boat right over to New York City.
When we arrived we went straight in, since we had press passes. We got to check out a lot of cool things while we were there. The Xbox 360, duel core AMD 64bits, new iSkins, were all stand out products in my opinion. Definitely the coolest thing was playing with the Xbox 360. They weren’t really allowing anybody to touch it, but since David is the master of asking the right questions, we got a look at it. Other than that there wasn’t too many new products
After checking out the show floor for a bit we headed to the PC Magazine booth and I got to meet Robert Heron, a former The Screen Savers show employee. He used to do the different product reviews on TSS, and is currently doing This Week in Tech with Leo Laporte. Patrick Norton was supposedly there, but we couldn’t find him.
After meeting Robert Heron, we spent the rest of our time in different gaming tournaments and hanging out in the press lounge. While we were there we also recorded a episode of LaG, which can be found on the LaG site. So, overall it was a great time. I would definitely do it again next year.

how did you record it there? did you bring in a laptop or you use some other sort of neat technology like satellite transpoders that beam your voice to your house so you can broadcast it?
We just brought a laptop.
