I am sorry i have the same motherbord and it dosnt work. you only get mono sound and no network. i tryed it before sorry. go the mac osx86 website for list of compatable hardware.

Apple’s iPod business is a lot different than its hardware business. If you don’t like them, don’t buy it. There are plenty of people out there that will. Now I feel, even if for some bizarre reason Apple does allow its software installed on Dells, I believe a lot of people afraid will buy the software, but people like me and other fans of Apple will still buy Apple’s systems. My only gripe though, I love to build systems from scratch.

Just FYI, Apple barely makes anything on the iTunes Music Store. The majority of their income is gobbled up by the RIAA, but that’s a whole other debate.

Apple doesn’t need the money that they “deserve”. They make enough money from iPods because every ingnorant child from 8-15 demanded one for christmas, not to mention the fact that like every two months they make a new one, and the whole crowd demands another one for birthdays and what not. And then on top of all that they make a tone of money from iTunes then too. And the worst part is, my $100 Sony MP3 player still can hold more music and has greater battery life.

Well, I do plan on buying a Mac when I start college next fall. I just want a Mac to fool around with until then.

The way I see it, I understand Mac hardware is expesnive and you don’t want to spend all that much money–but you can ask for an OS X x86 DVD or buy it when that comes out, then what you do to it later on is up to you. I know, buying software! But I like Apple and I think they deserve the money. Personally I am saving up for a Powermac x86 when they come out. I still plan on building a Linux box as well and completely destroying my Windows PC all together.

Yeah, but it’s a Celeron D. The D is better then the original Celerons. I know it’s confusing, but blame Intel for that.
