Attention all you Mac OSX newbies (sadly, yes that includes me)! Paul Stamatiou has composed a list of ten apps every Mac user should have. The list covers everything from media players to FTP clients. The best part of the list is every application is free!

I was playing around with most of those apps today at school, and they truly are great. So far my favorite application would have to be TextWrangler2. Prior to TextWrangler2 I was using the trial of BBEdit and that was set to expire so I’m glad I found an alternative. It’s amazing TextWrangler2 is basically an exact clone of BBEdit, down to every menu. It even supports BBEdit plugins. Great find Paul!
