I have just upgraded cavemonkey50.com to use the latest version of WordPress, WordPress 2.0. This a back-end update, so with a little luck you shouldn’t notice a thing. I’ve been testing WordPress 2.0 for weeks on my developer install of WordPress, but as most people know, when you move something from a testing environment to a real environment things are bound to go wrong. So, if you see anything that doesn’t look right, or something is broken, let me know immediately.
Now that I have WordPress 2.0 installed, I plan to make some minor changes to Clean and Mean. The changes will be minor, mostly dealing with the color scheme. I just think the new header kind of conflicts with the color scheme of the site, and I would like to get a better color scheme down before I start crawling out my skin. The updates should take place sometime during the week, so you have that to look forward to.

I was using RC3 for a while now, well ever since it came out, and I can’t figure out how to get Grins to work in edit a new post mode. I did make some changes, as I use my own smilies, so its annoying, since I have a lot more than they ones they use, i changed the format. i think i may update grins so the vars.php file gets ignored, as all i do is, prefix a colon, use the file name, drop the extension, postfix a colon. other than that, i dont do much tweaking, so i awlays tend to forget that and things go haywire and hate upgrading.
Jonathan, you have to modify the Grins plugin to use the new smilies location. The smilies are now found at /wp-includes/images/smilies/.
Well that I figured out, it works for a user commenting, but not for me when I write a post
