I’ve been dying to write this entry ever since I saw the first episode of Invasion. If you haven’t heard of Invasion, Invasion is ABC’s latest sci-fi show. It tells the tale of two families and their experiences in recovery from a tragic hurricane. It’s more that though. There is something in the water which is slowly changing the town - for the worse.
That vague description is exactly what this show is about. Invasion makes sure that you never know what coming next. As the show progresses, you get attached to each every character and you begin to think you know them. Then all of the sudden something occurs that radically changes your view of them. To make things even more painful, usually the big surprise comes at the end of the episode, leaving you guessing for a whole week on what that means to the story. That my friends, is what I love about Invasion.
So, if you’d like to get yourself hooked on one of the most creative, entertaining sci-fi stories in a long time, I have great news for you. There is an Invasion marathon tomorrow starting at noon on ABC Family. While not every episode will be shown, all the good, critical episodes will be shown, letting you prepare for the magnificent return of Invasion this Wednesday at 10 p.m. If you’re planning on starting to follow Invasion, be sure to not miss the marathon. Invasion is one of those shows where you need to see every episode to get the full enjoyment of the plot.

I never saw an episode, even though I am a huge fan of Lost, and Lost precedes Invasion. Though the fact I then watch South Park may be a part of it too!
I always thought that Invasion reminded me of that weird movie called “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”. Lot’s of political propaganda and everyone thought it was cool during the Red Scare.
