If you’re reading this, my website is back online. For the last twenty-four hours my webhost has had major problems. It started with a comment spam attack late last night, which flooded their servers, basically causing a denial of service attack. After the spam onslaught came to an end, my host had to rebuild several of their servers. My particular server needed a new hard drive, which normally wouldn’t have been a problem, but since my host had to rebuild a few other servers, it took some time.
Now that it’s over with, I can finally post this amazing article I’ve been working on. Alright, maybe it’s not amazing, but I had fun writing it. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it also. Unfortunately you’re going to have to wait a little now. I can’t post one article after another; that would just be outdoing myself. Maybe if you check back tomorrow at 12:41pm (I know, weird time) you might see it.

Don’t worry, the switch is planned. I only have three more months payed on Surpass Hosting, but if I can’t make it, I might jump ship earlier. We’ll see how long I can hold out.

I couldn’t take it any longer, so I switched to Media Temple’s Shared Server Professional. I’m only signed up at the moment for three months, but I have a feeling I’ll be hosted with them for some time to come. I always hear great things about them, so hopefully (mt) is the host to finally get me out of this jam. [...]
