Everyone’s favorite tech news website Slashdot, is going to be refreshing its website with a new design this coming Thursday. This is long overdo as Slashdot’s current design has remained the same since the dawn of the internet (alright, that’ a little exaggerated). The new design is focusing in on giving the site a modern look, while improving functionality.
While the majority of Slashdot visitors don’t seem to be liking the new design, I personally love it. I’ve always hated the current design, and while the new one does resemble the current design, it greatly improves upon it. The site feels less jagged and seems like a more calming place. I know that’s not the case, but we can dream, can’t we? Whatever your current opinion on the redesign is, I think we’ll all come to love the new design once it’s functional.

I don’t mind it. As long as it stays green and black, they are easy on the eyes at two in the morning when you need that last bit of news.
its allright, not my first choice, i liked the green relfective one, but kinda annoyed how they made them continue the use of the GIFs rather than PNGs. It seems like they wanted IE users to be happy rather than encourage Firefox switching…As for favourite tech news site, i have to say cm50 is my fave!
