Ever since my warranty expired, I’ve been modifying my Xbox. I look at it as the best mod anyone can do. By loading a hacked BIOS onto your Xbox either by a modchip or a softmod, you can unleash a whole new world. You can turn your Xbox into a media center, play old school games, download user created content, run a server, and about a million other things.

To modify my Xbox, I have always turned to Xbox-Scene. Xbox-Scene has loads of guides to get you started on everything from software modding to tricking out your case. On top of that, they have an awesome active user community. Their community is constantly pushing the limits of the Xbox hardware, while being one of the most knowledgeable communities ever. If you have any sort of Xbox problem, they can help you get it fixed in a matter of hours. I know they’ve saved me several times. Just keep in mind, Xbox-Scene isn’t very noob friendly, so make sure you do your research before asking a question that’s already been answered everyday this week.
