Flip4Mac Universal is Officially Here

If you’ve been waiting for Window Media support on your Intel Mac, I’ve got good new for you. Telestream has finally released the Universal Flip4Mac, Flip4Mac 2.1. While there has been a leaked beta floating around for a few weeks, this is the first version that is being released for use by everyone. If you’d like to view Window Media files, then just head over to Microsoft’s site and download the new Flip4Mac.

If you’ve previously had the beta installed, this is still great news. I’ve noticed that almost all WMV files play a lot faster now, with none of the glitches that I experienced before. It’s too the point where I have to click on the Quicktime info button just to see if I really am watching a Windows Media file. Definitely good news for Intel Mac users who want to watch Window Media files.

    I just downloaded it from the MS site. I hardly watch any WMV files, so I don’t know what’s changed. I’ll take your word for it ;-)
