Lack of Content: An Explanation

First of all, I’d like to start this post off with an apology. This past month I have not given my site the attention it deserves. I’m sorry for that. We’re halfway through October and I’ve only posted two times. Why the lack of content? Well, I’ve been busy, but it’s more than that. I’m worn out.

My schedule has been insane. Tuesday I’m at school from 11 to 9:30. Wednesday it’s 2 to 9. Thursday I’m there from 11 to 6:30. Friday is a bit different. I go to school from 11 to 1, then work from 3 to 10. Saturday and Sunday I’m putting in eight hour work days, and Monday is my only day off. In between this crazy schedule, I’m having to find time to study and do all of the other things required of me. When I finally get some downtime, I’ve been doing things that require no energy out of me; like watching TV or listening to podcasts. I haven’t been blogging.

So, why bring this up? I need to get this off my chest. I need to explain to my loyal readers that I still care about this site. I’m not going to let my website slip through the cracks. While you may not see a change right away, I’m working towards writing on a regular basis again. Right now I just need your support. Just hang in there and I’ll eventually get this figured out.

Thanks Ron. I know how it is, I been in your shoes before. I figured you were really busy with prison err I mean college and will get to us when you can. So how is school going anyways? I know you tend not to post personal things anymore but you are in a technology major I would love to read about that too.

College is going great. I’m loving my classes and the people I’ve met there have all been awesome. While it’s been a lot of work, I feel like I’m going there for a reason, unlike high school.

That is super to hear. I wish I felt the same as you do when I went to college. My college WAS high school all over again. I guess my computer science department wasn’t as large as I would of wanted so the options available in terms of electives was rather limited.

I hope you decide to live on campus while before you become an upper-classman as I think college is a totally different experience living in a dorm–then when you are a junior and senior live in an apartment or back home again.

I have had the same problem, only over a week or two rather than a month, but it could easily slide to that. Mid-Terms as well as my actual health have been a real pain in the ass lately.

Glad to hear you’re back, or trying to be. So am I.

I’m in the same situation right now, but I think it was nice of you to throw your explanation out there for us. I think there’s enough content here to keep people happy with “reruns” when you’re gone, too.

[...] Like Ronald, I offer an apology for the neglect I’ve shown over the past two weeks. Mid-terms and my health got the best of me. Now, I know I don’t offer anyone an apology since this isn’t my “work” but rather my “hobby”, yet I can’t help it. I should be back on track soon. [...]
