Sometimes I’m just amazed by people. Who in their right mind would wait in line for days to purchase a PS3? Apparently crazy people who hire homeless people, start riots, or subject themselves to robbery.
All that for what? A chance at buying a PS3. You’re not even guaranteed the system. Sure, if you score one you’re going to make a ton of money; but considering most stores are only getting around 10 systems, I’d hardly consider it worth it.
So, what’s your take on waiting for one? Do you think the payoff is worth it? I have a friend who’s contemplating heading over to Target (they’re not letting the lines form until 10pm) in hopes of a big payoff. Personally, I think he’s insane considering the weather is high winds with massive amounts of rain. I guess I won’t be calling him crazy if he walks off with a $2,000 profit, but until I see the money in his hands, he’s a lunatic in my book.

Agreed. I will wait probably until a few months to get my Wii. I have no interest in the PS3 but the Wii fanboys are equally as insane.
Apparantly, someone sold a PS3 on eBay for $10,100. Nick found it on some news site.
I waited about three and a half hours for a Wii. It rocks!
