I Quit My Job + Support the Site

Today was my last day at Redner’s Warehouse Markets. Instead of working a part-time job, for the time being I’m going to focus on doing what I love, this website. I should now have more time to post on a regular schedule and bring you the in depth articles that I love to write. To help make this a reality, I’d just like to take a brief moment to run down the ways you can support my site. I promise this the last you’ll hear of me on this subject.

First up, as I previously mentioned, I’m now doing web design. All my websites are done using XHTML/CSS and focus on semantic, cross-platform web design. I’m quite experienced in WordPress and can do pretty much anything you want with the platform. If web design isn’t your thing, I also offer PHP/MySQL programming and for my readers in the Lehigh Valley, on site computer services. All of these services can be obtained on my new website, ronaldheft.com.

Next, I offer a number of advertising opportunities to directly support my site. My main advertising method is TextLinkAds. By visiting my profile page, you can purchase a search engine friendly link in my sidebar or RSS feed. I also offer image-based advertising below the text links in my sidebar. To find out more about any of these advertising opportunities visit my advertising page.

Finally, I offer my reviewing capabilities on a service called ReviewMe. If you ever wanted to bring some attention to your product or just receive feedback from myself and my readers, purchasing a review is the way to go.

If you made to the end of this post, I thank you for your time. I’m fairly confident this new endeavor will work out thanks to my many loyal readers. You’re the people who make this site possible and I really appreciate it.

Good luck with the venture Ronald, I’ll looking forward to seeing what you can achieve working on the blog full time.

    Yay for quitting jobs!
Seriously, its always a good thing when you work on something you love. I hope it turns into a long turn thing for you.

While my site doesn’t negate my day job, it definitely helps supply some spare cash.

If you have the urge to code, run it through Postable and <pre><code>wrap it up</code></pre>.
