Today marks a major milestone in my Google Summer of Code project. Podcasting in WordPress now fully supports iTunes. In addition to iTunes support, my current podcasting build creates a true separate podcast feed (with configurable options) and allows enclosures to be added which do not appear in a post.
To celebrate this milestone, I’m kicking off my first round of user testing. I’m looking for testers who can setup an install of WordPress 2.3 SVN, have access to phpMyAdmin, and don’t mind answering a few questions. If you’re interested in testing WordPress’ upcoming podcasting support, drop me an email. I’m hoping to get everyone setup for testing by Monday.

Hello Peter,
You need to upload the artwork somewhere visible to the web. WordPress provides built in tools for doing this. On the Write Page under the Upload section, just browse for your artwork, and click Upload. When it’s done, you should be presented with a thumbnail preview.
Now go to the Podcasting options and in the Artwork section, enter the following URL:
Replace that last section “artwork.jpg” with the name of artwork you uploaded. So if your artwork was called “image.jpg”, the URL would look like this:
Hope this helps!
