As you have probably guessed by now, I have not had much time for blogging lately. Therefore, instead of letting my site waste away until I could sit down and write something, I created this video. Contents of this video are listed below.
- Welcome
- Firefox 3 (0:24)
- Safari 3 (1:07)
- Xbox 360 Fall Update (1:43)
- New Phone Choices (2:55)
As I mentioned in the video, any and all feedback would be appreciated.

Hey Ron,
I love this video update, it makes your blog feel more personal.
Sad to hear Firefox 3 still doesn’t fit with the Mac.
agreed, ff3b1 doesn’t look like a mac app..
Nice dude! I prefer the quick video update. I’ve been thinking about doing something like this myself as well. Not for every post, but once a month or something.
Anyway, I’m also totally looking forward to the fall Dashboard update. Like you, I’ve got a modded Xbox with XBC in my living room for TV shows and would love to be able to ditch that and just use the 360. Fingers crossed!
enjoyed the video update ron, keep em coming.
I really enjoyed this video post!
Great video, though you seem nervous in the video, you don’t sound confident in what your saying… Just a little constructive criticism!
I never liked FF for the Mac. I did use Camino for some time, and Safari as well. I would like to try Opera. I use it on Windows at work sometimes when FF pisses me off, but for some reason Opera just has a weird interface that frustrates me too much!
By the way, get rid of Verizon! AT&T worked fine for me when I was in the Allentown/Lehigh Valley area last time in my travels…
Yeah, I was a bit nervous. I recorded this video kind of quickly and wasn’t too prepared.
Opera on the Mac feels like crap as well. The interface has a striking resemblance to the shitty-ness of Firefox, and it feels like the Opera team just has a Mac version to have one. Safari 3.1 is definitely where it’s at right now.
I only really wanted to try to use Opera because I love using it on my phone. I guess the phone version is nicer, but again, I just use the browser for a quick Wikipedia lookup usually, and it works just as well, regardless of what Apple might think since I just saw them using that tactic on the new adverts… *ducking to avoid fanboy criticism!*
