Social

I love social Web 2.0 services and use them over traditional options whenever possible. Below is the latest in each of my Web 2.0 services. Feel free to add me as a contact on any of them.

Pownce

Sure, Pownce was late to the scene, but that doesn't mean it can't be the best. I current use Pownce as my main status update service. Here's what I'm currently up to on Pownce:

No public Pownce messages.

Twitter

If you haven't heard about Twitter before, it's basically a site devoted to status updates. Other sites have had this before, but none have made it this crazy simple. Here's what I'm currently up to:

Flickr

cavemonkey50. Get yours at flagrantdisregard.com/flickr

I use Flickr to dump all the pictures I take using my Nikon Coolpix L4.

Digg

DiggJoining the Digg bandwagon on April 4, 2005, Digg quickly replaced the majority of tech news sites for me. I read Digg several times a day and love submitting a good story whenever I find one. While I have had some minor issues with Digg in the past, everything is fine now. Here's what I've been digging:

Newsvine

NewsvineNewsvine is yet another Web 2.0 news service which I love. I first found out about Newsvine from the Inside the Net podcast, and since then it's made its way into my daily rounds. I find Newsvine to be a great news service since it aggregates Associated Press content while allowing users to seed and write anything that's on their mind. The community is great also, so you'll always find an intelligent conversation in almost any article on the site.

del.icio.us

del.icio.usI joined the del.icio.us scene very late, but that hasn't kept me from enjoying the service. I use del.icio.us to bookmark any cool site I find online. Here's the latest websites I've bookmarked:

Facebook

Ronald Heft's Facebook profileFacebook is yet another social website which I was late to use. I started using Facebook in August of 2006 when a friend from work introduced it to me. I instantly caught on to the service since it was basically MySpace without all the crap. I use Facebook as an address book for all my high school friends and random people I meet online.

Last.FM

Last.FMI've been using Last.FM since the AudioScrobbler days, and have loved the service from the very beginning. While I initially used it just to display what I was listening to, I quickly learned that Last.FM is so much more. I now use Last.FM to help discover new and interesting bands based off of what my friends like.

Xbox 360

Being an early adopter of the Xbox, I just had to get my hands on Xbox 360. My dream came through on November 21, 2006, a day before the one year anniversary of the 360. Being a full time student and working part time, I find it hard to get some good gaming time in, but when I find some, I have a blast.
