This next mod is something that everyone can do, since we all have them. Yes, I’m talking about phone modifications. While cell phones may seem like they’re just for making calls, the majority of phones nowadays can do so much more. Unfortunately, most U.S. based call phone providers disable those features; either to get you to sign up for one of their services, or to prevent you from using their resources. Luckily the majority of those features can easily be turned back on. Everything from Bluetooth profiles to free games can be enabled on most cell phones with just a little work.

To learn about how to enable these features, I have always turned to HowardForums. HowardForums has a community setup for every phone manufacture and provider. In just a few clicks you can be in a community of people with the same phone and provider as you, allowing you to learn what they did to enable feature X. HowardForums can even help you avoid being screwed by your phone carrier, which is something I think everyone can benefit from. If you want to unlock your phone like the rest of the world, HowardForums is the place to do it.
