Do you have trouble sleeping at night? Wish you could take better naps? Own a computer? Then I have the solution for you. Meet Pzizz, a software application that helps you sleep better and take great naps. How does it do it? Through some crazy sleep analysis, Pzizz generates soothing sounds and music that helps you fall asleep like a baby. To be honest, I really don’t know how it works; all I know is it does work and I’m noticing the improvements.

Pzizz comes in two flavors. A sleep module and an energizer module. The sleep module is used for helping you fall asleep for long periods of time (like overnight), while the energizer module is designed to help you take a nap up to an hour, gently waking you up when your nap is over.

The Application

The Pzizz application is what’s used to drive both modules, and it’s perfect for doing so. Opening up the application, you’ll notice how simple it is to get started. The application offers you a few options before you take your nap. You can set things like how long you want to sleep, whether you want a voice over (which by the way if very soothing and highly recommended), and what to do when your nap/sleep is over with. From there, you can either play your nap right from your computer, or export it as an MP3 with an option to send it directly to your iPod.

Testing the Sleep Module

Enough about the features, how does it perform you say? When I first started using Pzizz, I began with the sleep module. Now, I wouldn’t say I’m someone that has problems falling asleep. I can usually pass out in about a half hour with no trouble at all. I do on occasion have some trouble sleeping, but that’s fairly rare. Well, when I started using Pzizz I noticed I fell asleep a lot faster. It seems like it only takes me fifteen minutes now instead of a half hour.

I know you’re probably wondering, is it worth it for an extra fifteen minutes of sleep? It’s not just how fast I fall asleep, it’s how well I sleep when I’m finally there. This is where I’m noticing Pzizz shining. When I wake up in the morning, I’m not as groggy as before. I can get up in under two snooze cycles (which trust me is a huge improvement), and jump right into my day with no problem.

Testing the Energizer Module

While I’m sleeping better, that still isn’t stopping me from not giving myself enough time to do so. This is where the energizer module comes into play. While I don’t usually have trouble falling asleep, I do have trouble taking naps. It seems that whenever I try to take a nap, I either can’t fall asleep or I end up waking up feeling worse than I did before. Given this problem, I can really attest for what the energizer module does. While using it, I’ve been able to pass out quickly and wake up exactly when my nap was designed to end. Not only that, when I wake up, I do feel energized. It’s weird but a Pzizz nap feels like I’ve been injected with a crap load of caffeine, even though Pzizz does nothing other than allow my body to rest naturally.

Getting Pzizz

Pzizz truly has enabled me to sleep better, and I’m loving it. I would recommend it to anyone, which is exactly why I’m writing this post. And, pretty much anyone can use it. The software is available for both Mac and Windows, and since it generates standard MP3s, any portable device should work also. If you’re not completely convinced, Pzizz has 15 minute trials of both the sleep module and the energizer module, so you can see if Pzizz will enhance your sleeping routine.

Student Discount

Before I close this post, I just want to make all the college students aware of the student discount. Pzizz offers a 75% discount on one or both modules if you visit from your campus’ internet connection.
