Xbox 360 Spring 2007 Update Review
Microsoft released the long awaited Xbox 360 Spring 2007 update today. The update brings MSN chat, background downloading, a dedicated Marketplace blade, enhanced game information, inline achievement notifications, and H.264 / MPEG-4 video support. I eagerly downloaded the update this morning and formed my opinions on the new features.
Xbox 360 Spring Update Includes H.264/MPEG4 Support
Xbox 360 media lovers rejoice! In the release notes for the upcoming Spring 2007 Dashboard update, Microsoft has a few interesting lines:

10.4.9 Finally Released
After months of rigorous testing, Apple has finally released 10.4.9. The update weighs in at a hefty 160MB for Intel users and fixes numerous bugs in Tiger. Looking through the release notes, I see no mention of the sleep fix I discussed a few weeks ago. Regardless, I have installed the update without issue.
